Matsuyama Kenichi a.k.a Lさん He is best known as a detective L in Deathnote. L eats sweets because he doesn't sleep much therefore the sweets keep him awake. Reason why you see him drinking coffee/tea quite a bit.Plus, the sweets also help him concentrate when he's working on a case. he doesn't care how much sugar he eats because as he said himself. He burns the sugar off with his brain when he's thinking really hard.
